The Rangers recount their adventure on Muranthius to Rocky, whilst Divatox rallies her troops together to eliminate them.

Justin fends off the invading Piranatrons at the power plant by himself until the Rangers can join him, but they are also distracted by Divatoxs’ armies, meanwhile a mysterious wormhole is detected opening in space

Zordon and Alpha summon the Rangers to the Power Chamber, the Rangers find Lerigot waiting for them alongside their mentor, Zordon explains that Lerigot is here to finally free him from his confinement, and that he and Alpha will return to Eltar. Their departure however, must be implemented by entering the wormhole that Lerigot has opened, and Divatox is determined to close it, the Rangers become distracted by an armed assault led by Elgar as Divatox’ amphibador monster plants a device that will seal the wormhole shut.

Divatox’s Chromite monster blasts the Rangers woith a device capable of absorbing their powers and using them to create menacing Shadow duplicates of them. Powerless, the teens are all overpowered and captured except for Tommy

Dimitria’s friend Visceron, a native of Inquiris, arrives on Earth with urgent news relating to the Ranger’s mentor, but Divatox intercepts him and brainwashes him, making him an unstable and hostile servant to her crew before unleashing him on the Rangers.

Porto, against orders, attacks the Rangers. Meanwhile, Justin enters a soap box derby where a rival attempts to use dangerous tactics to emerge victorious

Adam teaches wayward soccer player Carlos about teamwork, whilst Divatox plants a bomb beneath the soccer game scoreboard, with only four points required to detonate it

After seeing that a mere fly coming into contact with the Blue Senturion causes him to short circuit, Divatox sends down Shrinkasect. The monster turns into a fly and lands on the Blue Senturion's neck, causing him to go crazy.

The mere size of flies, the rangers manage to escape into Divatox’s sub. However, they soon learn that they are slowly turning into insects. Meanwhile, Bulk and Skull escape from Stone, and make their way to the beach where a means of escaping from their chimp forms leads to new problems

Divatox is pressured by her mother, Momma D, to deal the Turbo Rangers a crucial blow, desperate, she unleashes her Putrapods and Piranatrons to ambush Tommy and Katherine outside the city, the ambush is succesful, as Tommy is captured. Meanwhile, two individuals en route to commuting to Angel Grove, TJ and Cassie, stumble on the situation and promise to help recover Tommy from the danger that awaits him.

Cassie and TJ successfully locate Tommy, his life in mortal peril, but they find the task of rescuing the Ranger's leader difficult. During a test of a new teleporter weapon created by Porto, Divatox is accidentally sent to Earth with a bad case of amnesia. She wanders into Mad Mike’s Pizza Parlor and eats a slice of pizza, but since she doesn’t have any money, the owner makes her work to pay for it. Porto stops by the shop to pick up pizza and then sees her, but then Justin and Carlos show up. To cause a distraction, he then creates the Mad Mike monster.

Justin and a friend witness the arrival of a space vessel, whilst the Rangers are assisted in battle by a new ally with the ability to clock himself..an Eltarian voyager known as the Phantom Ranger

The Rangers discover that entire portions of Angel Grove, including the Power Chamber, are being turned invisible

Divatox's attempts to launch a freeze key into the sun and cut the planet off from it's heat are hampered by the Rangers, so she enlists the aid of the Clockster monster to turn back time so she can save the freeze key and activate it elsewhere, but her scheme backfires when a curious Clockster touches the key and Earth's entire timeline is frozen.

Divatoxs' brother General Havoc has come knocking, taking his sister to space to provide her with his new orbiting fourtress, Havoc deploys his new creation The Metalasaurous to begin a campaign of destruction against the Turbo Rangers.
